I was wondering about an adaptation of this cocktail using whiskey, to honor Princess Margaret, who died on this day in 2002, as she was so fond of whiskey (if the Crown is accurate about this). Thoughts?

Perhaps try with a blended Scotch whisky in place of calvados.
