An awesome riff. I love the addition of Campari here — it lends a great bittersweet punchiness and melds perfectly with the blood orange.
For my taste, this drink benefits from a tiny bit more simple syrup OR a slow drinking pace so the ice in the glass lends further dilution. I never seem to manage the later, so I go for the former ;)
Helpful hint for my fellow measurement sticklers: 1/6 oz is 1 tsp.
Thanks Paloma. If you are using 1:1 simple syrup you'll need to use one-third more to equal are rich 2:1 sugar syrup. Useful tip on teaspoon -worth my adding that you can see notes on measures and conversions by clicking "measures and measuring" under every recipe.
