This is the perfect combination of bitter, herbal, sweet, and sour thanks to the Campari, gin, vermouth, and lemon. It has a creamy feel, a touch of lavender...
Interesting and quite enjoyable. Used a local gin from the Canadian prairies, Martini and Rossi sweet vermouth because that's what is available in a rural prairie setting and lavender syrup made in my kitchen. Bitterness is somewhat tamed compared to a classic negroni. The lemon and lavender add complexity and brightness. Will definitely offer this to acquaintances who enjoy a negroni.
