Such a charming cocktail...perfect for a couple of love-birds about to head off to a show or party. Decoding the recipe, we concluded that Maria has a smoky, sultry voice, beautiful almond eyes, an occasionally bitter tongue but more often a smile as sunny as a bunch of ripe bananas. We went by it a second time by reducing the Amaretto to 15ml, increasing the Cynar to 7.5ml and upping the liqueur to 5ml...for us, the original is the more charming and our variant is the slightly more deep and serious.

A touch sweet (used a bargain amaretto), but wow not too shabby. Wouldn't alter the specs, though I'm not really gettting the banana and only a subtle hint of the Cynar. How about y'all? (2 May 2023, 2:50p)
