I found this just OK. Felt that it was a lot sweeter than what I would expect a 7 cocktail. I would think at highest a 6. The blanco tequila gets lost; perhaps it would be better with an reposado or anejo tequila.

Infuse star anise in Campari or other Italian red bitter liqueur.
