Hi, I’m not familiar at all with rhum so I have this question, is that gold rhum similar (can I use it instead of) to light gold rhum (1-3 yo molasses column)??
Categorising rums is notoriously problematic. “Light rums” made using column stills are so named due to their character being lighter in style than rums made from a blend of pot and column stills, especially 100% pot still rums. Be bold and try different rums to find the style you prefer.
