Named 'Bacardi Oro' after the Spanish word for 'gold', this rum was first produced in 1862. Bacardi Gold is blended from 14 different rums aged one-to-two...
I know Bacardi was supposed to be a blend... but as a Brazilian, the only option for real rum would be the Havana club, since the legislation of this country allows you to inject fresh rum, freshly made into the bottle of already aged rum and put the same dye in the coca-cola to simulate color... it's sad, so I would like to know if this happens elsewhere in the world
Hi, I’m not familiar at all with rhum so I have this question, is that gold rhum similar (can I use it instead of) to light gold rhum (1-3 yo molasses column)??
Categorising rums is notoriously problematic. “Light rums” made using column stills are so named due to their character being lighter in style than rums made from a blend of pot and column stills, especially 100% pot still rums. Be bold and try different rums to find the style you prefer.
