I’m a fan of the Aviation but I wasn’t sure I liked this at first taste. By the time I was finished with it, it was one of my favorites. It’s not too boozy and not too tart. Nor is it overly sweet. Having said that, I can assure you that it has plenty of flavor. It’s not very complex but a very enjoyable sip.

I think my overall issue with Aviations and their variations is that I just don't like maraschino liqueur. Similar to pineapple juice, I feel it overpowers any drink it's used in.

Very good but I might try again with a bit more gin. That said, the ingredients all seem to play well together. As with any cocktail, things can vary with the citrus quality. Also will try with a Nick and Nora glass.
