Am I the only one studiously working their way through the Jason Clapham oeuvre?! 😂Revisiting this with better quality Kirschwasser - Specht the best I’ve been able to source; I’d rate 4.5. With so few ingredients the quality is going to determine the outcome of course. Pretty happy with this tonight.

More Jason Clapham magic. Beautiful interplay of herbal notes with richness and fruitiness from the Dubonnet and kirschwasser. I didn’t have the best ingredients available tonight but would still definitely have again.

The rebalancing here compared the regular blackthorn no. 4 really makes it sing - in particular knocking back the kitschwasser reduces what can be its rough edge - at least with the Weis bottle I’m using.
