I was looking for something with benedictine and discovered this. I happened to have all the ingredients, including the cardomom bitters. It's a really fine cocktail. I used a Pennsylvania-made rye whiskey I found called Dad's Hat Vermouth Finish. It was 94 proof--close enough to 100.

Very nice; rich and spicy. Cardamom is a great pairing with Benedictine. I enjoyed it with an orange twist. Thanks for sharing!
