Excellent version. I sometimes substitute sweetened cranberry juice for the orange juice for a pleasant variation.
Very nice; rich and spicy. Cardamom is a great pairing with Benedictine. I enjoyed it with an orange twist. Thanks for sharing!
Made with Monkey 47 Gin, it’s very reminiscent of what Americans refer to as “Russian tea.” A light misting of absinthe adds additional interest. Fascinating to try along side the Chrysanthemum cocktail.
I also enjoy this drink made with genever instead of gin. And Liber makes a tonic syrup with quinine which lets you add some bitter notes with the syrup.
