I bought some Walnut bitters at a Farmers Market and searched for a drink for them. This one is perfect. I've made it twice with two different amaros. Neither was Lucano, but both worked well.

Blue curacao is the kind of liqueur that can languish for a long time in the home bar. I had some from a years-ago drink I can't even remember. This cocktail makes wonderful use of it by mixing it with gin, which I love.
I used Dolin blanc vermouth and Rothman Apricot. I think I'll add it to my late night rotation. It's not overly sweet to me compared to other popular cocktails. I'm more of a gin drinker than vodka, but some friends left a big bottle of vodka from New Year's and this is as good of a use for it as any. Plus, I have had the Apricot liqueur for a while. This is a great use for it.
I wanted to make a cocktail with a cognac base and found this in the Savoy cocktail book. I used dry curacao. I'm really happy with it. I'm surprised it's not better known.
I was looking for something to use my Averna in. Found this recipe. Used the Laphroaig I had. I really liked the blend of the strong scotch and Averna. Will make again.
I was out of Angostura Bitters, so I used Hella Aromatic bitters instead. Worked really well. The classic Manhattan is a favorite for me, but substituting a good Anejo tequila is a brilliant twist. Loved it.
