Great story and a wonderful drink. Bring your personal favourites to bring it to life. I used 30 Glenfiddich (my first single malt love) and 10 J&B (the first scotch blend that I revelled in, to my surprise), lustau east India sherry (what a sweet sherry be in my opinion). A sprig of Rosemary would also sit nicely in the glass I think.

Very nice cocktail, but very salty. I used 1 dash (12 drops) saline solution (20 g salt to 80 ml water) which should be approx the amount of salt as described (yes?). Tryed again with 6 drops of 20 g salt to 80 ml of water. Now much more to my liking.
