I like using the two extremes, Calvados and Laird's BiB applejack. Both are bar staples for me, at least when I'm able to but BiB in the UK as supplies have been intermittent over the years.

I've been experimenting with BiB in several cocktails with excellent results. Just tried in 'Le Sang Jaune' a cocktail I'm familiar with and it was a completely different beast, introducing whiskey like barrel notes. How did you like the 86?
