Tasty enough on its own and, for a rye, relatively sedate on the palate. In a mixed drink, it can hold up (sort of) but it gets a bit lost when blended with bombastic, dynamic ingredients. Truth be told, it didn't fare bad in a Manhattan when paired with the dominant, characterful, favorited Cocchi di Torino. It would be a reluctant compromise if I ordered it in a drink at a bar.
