A very tasty bittersweet sipper. At the volumes specified, we served it straight up in a Nick and Nora glass.

I think the vermouth choice is important in this drink. I had a bottle of the very fruity Starlino Rosso vermouth open and with the Cynar, combined, they overpowered the rum. A bit more rum helped.
