I used locally-made One Village Coffee 'Artist' medium roast organic coffee, Jamaican demerara syrup (2:1), and McConnell's Irish Whiskey (a more than serviceable brand). Natural by Nature PA organic heavy cream as well. Got lucky with the brands.
Final comment... making the above recipe did for me also fall similarly short (comparing to the photo) of the wash line of the glass... Just increase by 1/2 measure (45-15-90-45) and you'll get the full fill.
