Pleasant, but slightly indeterminate. I'd sooner go one way or the other: either a Man o' War or a Manhattan Sweet.

I think I agree with this assessment. It's fine, but not worth rushing out to buy Dubonnet just to be able to make one of these...

Ooh, I say. What a smooth little creeper. I had Lillet Rouge to hand instead of Dubonnet and found it rather lovely.
