I was very very afraid, since Fernet is one of those things I still don't get it. The result is good, I believe is sort of an 'argentinian' mint julep.

Nevertheless I can't stop thinking of mouthwash. A very soft Listerine notes. Help me to understand Fernet!

Perhaps it's an aquired taste? Keep trying buddy. On a different tangent, have you tried a Trinidad Sour or Port of Spain, Dominic Alling's version? Lot's of Angostura in them. Works suprisingly well.
