First sample of the original Pippin. I used my favourite Courvoisier and had some distinctly spicy notes. Did not find excessively sweet, tho the cold weather may be affecting that judgment. Perhaps this is the “winter pippin”. Some nice bitterness on the after-palate from the Campari. Would happily make again.

Nice cocktail, love it but too sweet to my taste. I added some lemon juice, and it was more balanced according to my taste.
