Perhaps there is just a little too much going on here. We really enjoy the simpler Old Money #2.

Hadn't heard of that one, so I looked it up. Not sure how different Walnut liqueur (which I don't have) is from, say, Amaro Montenegro (which I do have and find a little nutty), so maybe that's a simplification I will try.
