I hesitate to again be a Meletti fan boy here (it just skews)... But I just made this twice with Wild Turkey 101, Cocchi di Torino, and Campari... The second try with Meletti (first one Vecchio Amaro del Capo, twas fine) was a clear winner. Almost vastly different drinks...

I find the description of "a riff on a Boulevardier" interesting. Based on the proportions, this to me reads more like halfway between a regular and black Manhattan, with a small splash of Aperol.

Switch out the Rosso to Vya's sweet vermouth and it would be a lovely pairing.
