Closest Alpine liqueur to hand was suze. Pleasant but not outstanding, and rather too sweet to count as a Martini for my palate. Other genepi liqueurs may give different conclusions- I shall continue the search.

I just concocted something like this, being in a poorly stocked airport departure lounge - only discovered Mr Clapham's version through curiosity. Surprisingly good, especially for the time and place.
Not outstanding but very easy to drink, particularly with the relatively low alcohol.
Orangey. Nothing else notable.

White Lady is a sour so no argument there. I'm very selective on egg white and I prefer WL without.
Not bad. Also not - in any way - a Negroni. Shame on anyone riding a past-its-date Negroni bandwagon claiming otherwise.
Basically a White Lady with a dash of absinthe. If that's up your street go for it, if not don't waste your time.
Confounded my unsurprisingly low expectations. Not overly sweet, especially for such a generally gooey day.
