Founded in 2007 by Jasper Cuppaidge in the basement of The Horseshoe pub in Hampstead, the brewery is now located in Kentish Town West with another under construction in Enfield. The Enfield brewery is set to be the largest brewery to be built in London in over 30 years.

In 2016, AB InBev acquired Camden Town Brewery for some £85 million.
