I tried this with Clear Sambuca and The Botanist, but was not my fav. Ill give it another shot if I can get ahold of the black Sambuca.
This was really good. The licorice was less prominent than I would have thought, it balances really well with a strong Ginger Beer. Probably better with a less sweet GB as the sambuca is already pretty sweet. I used Fever Tree, but could see using a Blenheim next time I have that in stock.

Dark/black rum, Rosso/sweet vermouth, Plum bitters
I like it better with plum bitters. I have never been a fan of angostura (tastes too much like cough syrup).
