Even my friends who shun sweet drinks like this.
Triple sec, Vermouth alla vaniglia, Gin
I had this in a rooftop bar in a hotel in Albuquerque that had been a hospital. I finally found a recipe book that had it and I can't remember its name, but it's somewhere in my library. If you know it, you could save me time. It's a pretty good and surprisingly named drink.
Haven't tried it yet, but if you like the Last Word then this should extend the time you can appreciate it and mellow the lovely intensity of the Chartreuse.
Crème de violette, Licor 43, Blanco tequila, Sambuca, Lemon juice
Couldn't find any parfait amour in town and made it substituting creme d' violette. Only slightly worked. Tried it with a combo of Quarenta Y tres and violette as a workaround and I think it worked. .75 Quarenta and . 5 violette
This turned out to be a really good drink, even using a lavender simple syrup. I suppose you could also use a triple sec upgrade for the sweetener as well.
