Review:

This herbal sweet 'n' sour Last Word does indeed have The Last Laugh thanks to a splash of merriment-inducing sparkling wine.

History:

Adapted from a recipe created by Abigail Gullo at Compère Lapin restaurant in New Orleans, USA. A riff on the classic Last Word, apparently so named due to the bubbles from the sparkling wine "tickling your nose."

One serving of The Last Laugh contains 190 calories.

Alcohol content:

  • 1.5 standard drinks
  • 19.55% alc./vol. (39.1° proof)
  • 21.5 grams of pure alcohol
