Tried this the first time about 10 years ago in a bar in southern germany. The le gurk is a very refreshing summer drink. Recommended!

Half the sugar syrup and this will be a fantstic cocktail. I used The Botanist Gin and Kizakura "Kura no Uta (Junmai)" Sake.
I found that adding .25 oz of rye and 6 drops of Angostura bitters for reducing the sweetness made this a fairly balanced cocktail.
