Discovered this by chance over the Christmas holidays and one of my favourite champagne cocktails - has an extra dimension to the classic with cognac in my opinion. Enjoyed them so much had to revert to good quality Cava so not to break the bank- but to no repercussions taste wise.

I liked the look of the recipe and Needless Necessity as a good ring to it, so couldn't resist making. For my tastes, working on roughly 2/3rds measures for sobriety, I ended up with 25ml Gin, 25ml Strega, 15ml Krupnick, 15ml Lemon juice, and 1 dash Angostura.
