This was my first use of Bechkerovka. I do agree the combination of maraschino and the Becherovka was strong and was a bit on the sweet/syrup side. However I did enjoy the flavor of the Becherovka and the cocktail

Since then I have figured it works even better to use Becherovka in a Final Ward riff, with bourbon and lemon.
