It's on the sweeter side, but that shouldn't be a surprise with the strength and taste guide and the ingredients.

I loved it though, an easy drink that at first seems simple and fruity but actually has quite a bit going on.
Yesterday I tried the Champs Elyssey and today this, straying from the cognac with both and using a Torres 10 Year Double Barrel.

Whilst this was less complex the balance really won me over.

Both will be regulars on the rotation.
I had a glut of lemons and a half bottle of Aperol I needed to finish so gave this a try and really enjoyed it, as did my better half.

I found it nicely balanced with a bitter(ish, it's only Aperol) start fading to juicy sweet and sour finish.
I really liked this. I was worried it was going to be too sweet with the marmalade and sugar syrup (and my wife did say it was very sweet) but with a bitter orange marmalade it felt just right, with the bitterness and the lemon balancing the sweetness well. I loved the viscosity the marmalade and sugar syrup gave too.

This will definitely be added to the list of regulars.
