15ml was too much syrup for me, so I reduced to 7.5ml. I would also like to try it with Vanilla Bitters and a demerara sugar cube.
Perhaps just my mood but I was struck by a lot of complexity, with several waves of flavours. I subbed in Regal Rogue vermouth and Select. The first outstanding rating I think I've given. Superb.
I made with a sugar syrup which was half light muscovado and golden caster sugars. Upped to 7.5ml of syrup and 5 dashes of Angostura with Powers Three Swallows whiskey. Excellent!
