Bols Dry Orange Curaçao is a dark orange liqueur made from Curaçao orange peel distillates to which a tincture of bitter herbs is added. The use of a rum distillate as the base spirit means Bols Dry Orange mixes better in rum based cocktails than grain or brandy-based orange liqueurs.

Dry Orange is one of the oldest liqueurs in the Bols range. At the world exhibition in Antwerp in 1885/86, a reporter wrote a raving review about this liqueur, describing it as "Nectar of the gods, distilled from sweet fruit from the West" (Indies).

Aparência:

Clear, deep bronze amber.

Aroma:

Pungent orange zest and red grapefruit juice with faint vanilla.

Sabor:

Slightly syrupy sweet palate with zesty orange (flesh and juice) with vanilla and faint aniseed.

Aftertaste:

Clove spice emerges in the orange zesty finish.
