Santa’s Beard is a milk stout brewed with roasted barley and five different malts: Pale Ale, Munich, Crystal, Brown and Chocolate malts with lactose sugar providing balancing sweetness. Santa’s Beard is designed to be drunk with cheese or Christmas pudding.

Appearance:

Clear but virtually opaque, deep brown, almost black with beige head and light lacing.

Aroma:

Malty, biscuity chocolate and coffee with salted caramel.

Taste:

Burnt toast, creamy chocolate and piney hops with smoky bacon.

Aftertaste:

Mocha coffee and burnt toast with more smoky bacon.
