Made from British potatoes, this vodka is first distilled in a continuous column still before being re-distilled in a copper pot still. It is then flavoured with vanilla from Madagascan vanilla pods which also gives this vodka a light golden hue.

The vanilla that flavours this vodka is from Madagascan vanilla pods rather than essence so Portobello's vanilla flavour is subtler than many other 'vanilla' vodkas.
