Appearance:
Clear, deep coppery amber.
Aroma:
Pungent and generous. Zesty orange, brandy and cacao with nutty cereal. Water amplifies zesty and malt.
Taste:
Full-bodied and muscular with distinct Spanish brandy-like notes. Pine-like wood, orange peel, peppery allspice and nutmeg. Doesn't take water well as amplifies pine-like notes.
Aftertaste:
Spanish brandy-like notes, pine-like wood and malty cereal.
Overall:
Big and brawny but don't be tempted to add water, the Spanish brandy and orange peel notes in this whisky are best enjoyed when neat.
