Garnish: brandied cherry + fresh rosemary sprig
Ingredients
½ oz (15 ml) Cherry Heering
1½ oz (45 ml) rye whiskey
½ oz (15 ml) maple-cinnamon syrup*
¾ oz (22 ml) fresh lemon juice
2 dashes orange bitters
Garnish: brandied cherry + fresh rosemary sprig
*Maple-cinnamon syrup:
Combine ¼ cup maple syrup + ¼ cup water + 1 small cinnamon stick.
Heat until warm, steep 15 minutes, strain, and cool.
Method
Add Cherry Heering, rye whiskey, maple-cinnamon syrup, lemon juice, and bitters to a shaker filled with ice.
Shake until chilled (about 10–12 seconds).
Strain into a chilled coupe or small rocks glass.
Garnish with a brandied cherry and a fresh rosemary sprig.
