Rocks glass

Garnish:

Mint sprig and extra drops of Orleans bitters.

How to make:

Into the shaker: 40 ml Michter's Straight Rye Whiskey, 15 ml Cherry Heering liqueur, 10 ml orgeat, 25 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice, 4 drops Orleans bitters (plus more as garnish).

Do a quick whip shake. Pour everything, ice and all, into a rocks glass filled half way with crushed ice.
Top up with more crushed ice, garnish with a festive mint sprig and extra drops of Orleans bitters.
Add a straw for drinkability.

1/2 fl oz Heering Cherry Liqueur
1 1/3 fl oz Michter's Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Rye
1/3 fl oz Giffard Sirop de Orgeat (Almond) Syrup
5/6 fl oz Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
4 drop Scrappy's Bitters Orleans
