Despite relocation to a standalone space in Telok Ayer Street, this popular cocktail bar retains its speakeasy feel. A discreet doorway - look for the Robot Coffee graffiti - leads into a long, narrow space with chequer-tiled floors, raw cement walls and a long, low bar.

While there is a small cocktail menu for those who are a little more traditional, the way to go here is bespoke. Simply tell the bartender what base spirit and style (sweet, sour, spicy) you're in the mood for and they will do their magic. The locals favour fruity cocktails so the bar always has an exceptional range of seasonal fruits along with a solid selection of premium spirits and some interesting single malts.

Bitters & Love also serves food, and it's difficult to ignore the bar snack menu with sizzling waygu beef and truffle fries particularly worthy of mention.

The owners, Beverly Yeoh and Ernest Goh have been successful in creating a bar which caters to the tastes of locals and discerning expats alike.
