Bassoon lies in the Corinthia Hotel, just off Trafalgar Square within a building that was formerly a hotel but requisitioned by the MoD during the war, then lay derelict for years.

Housed in the former hotel's music room, the bar is designed with music as the influence and is by Madonna's favourite interior designer, David Collins. The ceiling has 'sound waves' moulded into it and a bar that at one end turns into a grand piano. There's an open fire, and low lighting - it's all very atmospheric.
