This street in the El Ravel district might have a slightly grungy reputation, but Negroni is elegant and is stylish throughout: from its decor to its cocktails and its clientele.
The most striking part of the bar is its glass counter, which incorporates some crazy doodles. At first it might just look like scribbles - but peer a little closer - it is, in fact a modern day take on a Greek myth. A picture of Paris is one end, and Helena is at the other end of the bar - talk about creating a romantic atmosphere for couples whose eyes meet across a crowded room.
The back bar is well stocked, and attractively up-lit. The beautiful lighting continues throughout the rest of the lounge, from flickering tea lights on the counter to the soft red wall lights.
In the seating area, the art is centred round the theme of '1/3' to signify the 1/3 gin, the 1/3 sweet vermouth and the 1/3 campari that goes into Negroni - need we even recommend what drink you should be trying here...?!
