Review

St. Paul's, Tower Bridge, the Shard, the South Bank, London Eye, Big Ben: it's all about the view at Radio. Sure, it's luxurious, with a striking contemporary design, but the dual vista and the views of some of the capital's most iconic landmarks from a centrally located West End location are what you'll really come for. The heated terrace features plush seating and is sure to be one of the most in-demand rooftop spaces in London this summer.

Inside the sliding glass walls, with your back to the view, an angular island bar provides a focal point. Low groups of seating shout luxury hotel, slick uniformed staff glide around and beautiful people are in abundance.

What's to drink? Wine's nicely accessible, with short lists of new and old world selections and plenty of affordable bins in the £20s (though quickly accelerating to three figures). The spirits selection is voluminous but beer barely gets a look in. Cocktails are £10-12 and divided between a short list of classics and reclaimed '80s favourites and some original fruit-led cocktails. Mostly, it's all about the view.
