Sister of Escucha upstairs, Minus One is a dark, late night lounge and cocktail bar. It's stylish and polished with a touch of bling, and boasts regular DJs and occasional live music sessions. It's got a surprisingly decent menu for a place that's more reminiscent of a club than it would admit, though some of the more esoteric drinks had our bartender scrabbling around for the spec sheet - despite attracting a bartender crowd here the normal drinks choice is seemingly far narrower than the menu would suggest. That said, our cocktails were well-made.

The menu covers classics, modern classics, some pun-tastic contemporary offerings (Dr Cherry Thomas, Shirley Tempted). Spirits are available by the bottle, though there are also plenty of sipping spirits available and a menu of cigars to match. We found the service extremely friendly and basically really enjoyed ourselves.
