Bobby Gin

As the name would suggest, this fabulous bar is gin focussed and so has a good selection of gin based cocktails on its menu but Bobby Gin is famed for its creative range of Gin and Tonics which are offered with a bewildering range of both gins and tonic waters. As has become the trend in Barcelona these are presented in practically goldfish bowl sized chalices, each beautifully garnished.

If you are trying to understand the present G&T craze in Barcelona then watching the number and variety made whilst sat at the bar here will help your understanding of the phenomenon. However, don't follow the other sheep and the team at Bobby Gin make great cocktails - many with spirits other than gin.

Such is the popularity of the aforementioned G&Ts that you'll usually find a doorman at the head of a line of hopeful guests outside who are waiting for a seat to become available. Be patient, your turn will come and it will have been worth the wait - for the bar snacks alone, but that's another story...
