De Luze V.S.O.P. is a Fine Champagne Cognac blended from eaux-de-vie made from grapes grown at Domaine Boinaud and distilled on the lees at the Boinaud family’s own distillery which boasts 41 pot-stills.

It is a blend of eaux de vie from Grande Champagne (minimum 50 per cent) and Petite Champagne, aged at least 12 years with some spirit dating from 1989.

Appearance:

Clear, coppery golden with bright bronze highlights.

Aroma:

Dried plump apricot halves, pear skin, candied fruit and rose petals with fresh green grapes, caramel, light cinnamon spice and faint rubbed spearmint leaves.

Taste:

Slightly sweet, wonderfully fruity (apricots, prunes and ripe pear) with balancing spicy oak, gingernut biscuit and cinnamon spice.

Aftertaste:

Pear skin, pear drop and gingernut biscuit.
