In the 19th century Bols made a coffee liqueur called 'Huile de Moka'. Today Bols Coffee liqueur is made by steeping and then percolating Colombian coffee beans and cacao beans in a rum distillate. The Master Distiller blends these percolations with more of the rum distillate and some vanilla.

Appearance:

Clear, virtually opaque, very dark brown.

Aroma:

Roasted coffee with a hint of chocolate and vanilla.

Taste:

Balanced smoothness yet with heavy roast espresso bite, slight sweetness with vanilla and honeycomb chocolate.

Aftertaste:

Lingering espresso coffee and dark chocolate.
