Perrier-Jouët Blason Rosé is given extra body and its salmon pink colour by the addition of 15% red wine from Bouzy being added to the blend. The assemblage includes around 15% reserve wines and benefits from 2-3 years on the lees before disgorgement.

Appearance:

Clear, rusty salmon pink with small persistent bubbles.

Aroma:

Red apple skin - orchard and berry fruit with really ripe strawberry and a hint of vanilla.

Taste:

Heavy berry character with more crisp red apple skin. Light toasty with almond croissant and citrus zest.

Aftertaste:

Fresh, lightly biscuity with fading berry fruit.
