Extra Brut ages for five years rather than the usual three of the normal Jacquart Brut. With a higher percentage of Chardonnay (35-40%) and less Pinot Meunier (25-30%) with 30-35% Pinot Noir, Extra Brut also notably uses less than 4g/l of sugar resulting in a fine balance of freshness and maturity.
