Review and Tasting

Sampled on 09/04/2012

Appearance:

Clear, deep golden amber.

Aroma:

Pungent muscovado sugar and vanilla nose with faint molasses, note quite ripe passion fruit, overripe banana and a lanolin oil rubbed leather note.

Taste:

Slightly sweet entry to an incredibly mellow palate. This has all the best bits of Bacardi Superior: citrus, bamboo wood and the distinctive blue cheese with more pungent aged fruity notes: toffee, vanilla, mocha coffee, passion fruit and overripe banana.

Aftertaste:

Caramel finish with cinnamon and black pepper spice, lingering mushroom soup notes.
