A blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Refosco grappa distilled using the artisanal method and aged between 5 and 30 years in small Limousin oak barrels or former sherry casks.

Bottled at natural colour, without the addition of caramel.

Appearance:

Clear, deep amber.

Aroma:

Sherry soaked raisony fruit cake and brioche with orange zest, nuts and chocolate.

Taste:

Dry spicy oak, honeyed sherry, dried fruit, fruit cake, vanilla and toasted almonds.

Aftertaste:

Slightly bitter, woody raisony finish with lingering dry slightly smoky oak.
